The Kattie M. Wills Trailblazer Scholarship (KMWT) is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Kattie M. Wills, a beloved community leader who lived to 102, witnessing remarkable advancements and serving as an unwavering advocate for education and children. This scholarship aims to empower the next generation of leaders by providing financial assistance to deserving students who demonstrate exceptional promise and a commitment to their educational journeys. We proudly award grants to individuals regardless of their race, creed, or background, focusing solely on their potential and needs.
Are You Eligible?
We’re looking for students who show academic excellence, leadership, and financial need.
Academic Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
Financial Need: Must demonstrate financial need
Enrollment Status: Currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited four-year university
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
Please note: Immediate relatives of Divine Connection staff members, board members, or sponsors are not eligible to apply.
Scholarship Awards & Recognition
Award Amount: Up to $500
Number of Awards: At least one award granted annually
Recipients are chosen based on their academic record, personal statements, and financial need.

Program Timeline
